Specialists from the National Institute for Monuments of Cultural Heritage and from the Ministry of Culture, approved the realization of a stage of restoration-conservational works of the King’s Palace in Sofia, performed by EKSA JSC. It concerns the restoration of the central north tower of the museum.
The building is a monument of cultural heritage of national significance. After the current renovation, the roof of the eastern and the central part of the building has its authentic look and shine, as befits one of the emblematic buildings of the city. Unfortunately, there is no such situation in the west wing, for which finances are expected.
15 years ago EKSA JSC, won a competition for restoration of the roof on the east wing of the King’s Palace, financed by the foundation "Raphael" at UNESCO. Two years later, with a donation by Foundation “Messerschmitt“- Germany, our team began the restoration of the facades of the architectural monument, which was completed, in stages, by 2008.
