AFTER THE START OF 2001 BULBANK PLOVDIV WILL WELCOME ITS CLIENTS IN A NEW BUILDING ON IVAN VASOV STREET

EKSA LTD, led by Arch. Konstantin Peev, has been chosen to complete the design of the new building. Their proposal matches best the investor's functional and aesthetic requirements. The modern architectural solution bears classical spirit. We are witnesses of one of the few cases when the notorious local Plovdiv patriotism lets a Sofia architect and acknowledges his already constructed building as one of the best in the city.

In short, the logic of the form's construction sounds like that: "We follow modernist architectural principles while using approaches from classical architecture, matching the spirit and traditions of Plovdiv. Our purpose is to recreate a harmonic relationship between the new building of Bulbank and the historic center of Plovdiv not through imitation but through consistent application of the principles of constructing the architectural form".

A month earlier than planned, the builders of the new Plovdiv branch of Bulbank, situated on Ivan Vazov Street, next to the Army Club, completed the construction. On December 4. The National Acceptance Committee, chaired by Eng. Tinko Yordanov, director of RDNSK-Plovidv, approved the construction with Protocol 16.

According to specialists, the new Bulbank building is one of the best construction and technological projects completed in Plovdiv for the past ten years.

The construction of the new bank building began last year in November.
The bank building is completed after a design of Arch. Konstantin Peev and his team. Their design was first prized in a design competition in 1999. According to the investor's requirements, the building is designed with four levels above the ground and one below it, amounting to a total area of 2,100 m2. A 24-hour public and bank vault is located in the underground level, together with technical and storage rooms, and an electric transformer.
