Under the contract with the Ethnographic Museum at BAS, EKSA JSC has completed the restoration of the central staircase of the King’s Palace - Sofia.
King’s Palace building, which until 1944 was the Royal palace, is located on the square "Alexander Battenberg” , in the capital. Since 1954, the east wing houses the Ethnographic Institute and the Museum of the Bulgarian Academy of Science and the west wing houses the National Art Gallery. The exquisite decorations on the ceiling and the wall panels were seriously damaged by the moisture. This led to the distortion of the artistic messages of the artifacts, which is one of the main objectives of each museum exposition.
Now, every visitor that passes the threshold of the Ethnographic and Art Museums, can enjoy the authentic atmosphere, and prepares for perception of the messages of the exposed artifacts.
